Tadhana Featured in Le Parfum Haute Magazine, One of Europe's Most Recognized Fragrance Publications
The modern Asian fragrance house is profiled in the magazine's "Newly Discovered" editorial under the title "A Different Shade of Asian Perfumery."
Tadhana, the modern Asian fragrance house founded by ISIPCA-trained perfumer Shale Albao, has been featured in Le Parfum Haute Magazine, one of the most recognized fragrance publications in Europe. The profile appears in the magazine's "Newly Discovered" section, which highlights independent houses the editors believe are growing into obsessions.
Titled "A Different Shade of Asian Perfumery," the feature traces Tadhana's point of view: classical French composition techniques applied to uncommon Asian materials, with each scent built from an everyday emotional moment rather than a single fixed narrative. The editorial spotlights two of the house's fragrances — Hello, Silence, structured around almaciga, a resin from a Philippine tree, and Innocent, built around sampaguita, the national flower of the Philippines.
"They titled the feature themselves — A Different Shade of Asian Perfumery," said Shale Albao, Founder and Creative Director of Tadhana. "That line came from the editors, not from us. To have one of Europe's most respected fragrance publications describe the work in the exact terms we set out to express tells us the point of view is landing."
The European coverage follows a period of momentum for the house, which was named among the Top 5 Best Asian-Based Fragrance Houses at the Global Fragrance Convention's FragCon Awards, selected from more than 800 community nominations. Tadhana will exhibit at FragCon in Texas in August 2026. The house has also been featured in Vogue Philippines, Allure, L'Officiel, and BusinessWorld.
