Origins
Tadhana was founded by Shale Albao, a trailblazer in Philippine perfumery and a distinct Asian voice in the global fragrance landscape. Her work is grounded in French perfumery discipline, shaped by training in classical and advanced composition at ISIPCA, France, and further developed through the International Perfume Foundation.
Within these traditions, a different narrative emerged—one informed by Asian memory, material, and place.
Tadhana grew from the desire to tell stories from this perspective, treating uncommon Asian and Philippine ingredients not as supporting notes, but as central voices in modern perfumery. Local materials are approached with respect, translated for a global context without dilution.
At its core, Tadhana is committed to continuity—between land and craft, between those who cultivate ingredients and those who wear them. The brand moves quietly toward a future where traceability, care, and respect for origin are integral to how fragrance is made.
